Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "BASYANG" was estimated based on all available data at 895 km East of Northeastern Mindanao (9.2°N, 133.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving West Southwestward at 20 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to ocassionally moderate rains and thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Siquijor** - All rivers and its tributaries
+ **Bohol** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Inabanga, Ipil, Matulid, Loboc and Abatan.
+ **Cebu** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Kotkot, Mananga, Guinabasan, Balamban and Sabangdaku.
+ **Negros Oriental** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly La Libertad, Tanjay, Candugay, Siaton, Cawitan, Sipocong, Bayawan, Pagatban and Lower Tabanan.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
