* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northern California, including the following
counties, south central Alameda, northwestern Santa Clara and
north central Santa Cruz.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 453 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Jose, Fremont, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Mountain View,
Milpitas, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Newark, Campbell, Morgan
Hill, Menlo Park, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Los Altos, East Palo
Alto, Los Altos Hills, Sunol-Midtown, Buena Vista and
Fruitdale.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
