    Kristillisdemokraattien puheenjohtaja Päivi Räsänen selvisi englanninkielisestä tentistä kunnialla, tosin lausumisen suhteen jäi välillä parannettavaa. 

    David McDougall kysyi MTV3:n Huomenta Suomessa Räsäseltä muun muassa tarvitaanko Suomessa puoluetta, jonka ohjelmassa korostuu kristinusko yhtenä politiikan lähtökohtana.

    – Absolutely we have need to Christian Democrats and we don’t have so narrow policy as perhaps you think. We have wide program for entrepreneurship, safety and security questions and questions for family politics. And if you think about the European countries Christian Democrats are quite popular in many for example southern or middle European countries and also in northern Nordic countries. In every Nordic country there is Christian Democratic party. I believe in long future.

    Räsäseltä kysyttiin myös onko hän homofoobikko.

    – No. Yes I have many gay people who are my friends. I absolutely I´m not homophobic. We Christian Democrats think that basically marriage is between men and woman.
