Emmy-Gaalaa juhlittiin yön aikana – katso lista voittajista!

Televisiosarjoja juhlistava vuosittainen Emmy-gaala järjestettiin maanantain ja tiistain välisenä yönä Suomen aikaan. Kyseessä oli järjestyksessään 70. kerta, kun gaalaa juhlittiin. Amazonin komediasarja The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel keräsi illan aikana suurimman potin, ansaiten viisi palkintoa.

FX-kanavan minisarja The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story oli myös yksi illan suuria voittajia, keräten itselleen kolme palkintoa. Kyseessä oli toinen kausi Yhdysvaltojen puhutuimpia rikoksia käsittelevässä sarjassa, jonka ensimmäinen kausi käsitteli OJ Simpsonin oikeudenkäyntiä.

HBO:n suosittu draamasarja Game of Thrones pokkasi kaksi palkintoa, yhden parhaasta draamasarjasta ja yhden parhaasta sivuosasta, jonka voitti Peter Dinklage. Netflixin The Crown ja FX:n The Americans voittivat myös kaksi Emmy-palkintoa.
