Tässä ovat vuoden Oscar-ehdokkaat – yksi elokuva ylitse muiden

Elokuvamaailman arvostetuimman palkinnon ehdokkaat julkistettiin juuri Los Angelesissa. Vuoden eniten ehdokkuuksia keräsi lännenelokuva The Power of the Dog saavuttaen mittavat 12 ehdokkuutta.

Myös suomalaiset saivat jännittää Juho Kuosmasen ohjaaman Hytti nro 6 -elokuvan puolesta, mutta tällä kertaa se ei kuitenkaan yltänyt Oscar-ehdokkaaksi asti.

94. Oscar-gaala järjestetään Suomen aikaa sunnuntain ja maanantain välisenä yönä 28. maaliskuuta. Gaala järjestetään perinteisesti Los Angelesissa.
