Flood Advisory issued February 16 at 4:45PM PST until February 16 at 9:00PM PST by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
county, Central and Southern Los Angeles.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rock slides and mud slides in areas of steep terrain. Minor debris
flows.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 440 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from
isolated to scattered showers moving across the Advisory
area, and additional brief, moderate to heavy showers will
occur through the evening hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rock slides
and mud slides will be possible. Minor debris flows.

Long Beach, Thousand Oaks, Malibu, Acton, Wrightwood,
Griffith Park, Burbank, Universal City, Hollywood, North
Hollywood, Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles, Alhambra, Beverly
Hills, Van Nuys, Mount Wilson, Culver City, Inglewood, Encino
and Santa Monica.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
