Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Local snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm, with the heaviest amounts expected along the Lake Erie shoreline.
Westerly winds gusting up to 90 km/h along the Lake Erie shoreline.
When:
Overnight through Monday evening.
Additional information:
Lake effect snow off Lake Erie is expected to intensify into snow squalls overnight. The lake effect bands may occasionally extend into northern Niagara region.
Southwest winds gusting up 90 km/h near Lake Erie on Monday will create areas of near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Snow squalls are expected to move south of the area Monday evening, but may return Tuesday into Wednesday.
