Snow squalls possible.
What:
Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Local snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm.
When:
Beginning overnight or early Monday morning.
The worst conditions are expected Monday afternoon and evening.
Additional information:
Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Ontario are expected to move into the area overnight or early Monday morning. Westerly winds gusting to 60 km/h are expected to develop Monday afternoon giving areas of near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. Snow squalls are expected to move out of the area Monday evening.
There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic Monday. Travel on Highway 401 may be hazardous at times.
