Vedet tulvivat metroon ja sähköt ovat poikki puolelta miljoonalta New Yorkissa Sandy-myrskyn jäljiltä. Rakennuksia on tulessa ja julkinen liikenne jumissa.

Koko itärannikolla noin kuusi miljoona taloutta on ilman sähköä.

Myrsky iski yön aikana New Yorkiin, nyt tuulet ovat jo laantumassa.
